“The only reason I booked this hotel was the pool. Fast forward to check in and the pool isn’t “functioning”. Mind you we stared at a running pool with clear water all week but a chain on the gate. I immediately asked to be able to use the pool from the same chain right down the street and was told no. So I took it up the chain to Holiday Inn Customer Care who said a ticket was started and someone would be in touch with options/resolution within 24hrs. Never heard another word. Needless to...

“We only stayed one night, just a place to sleep. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower clean and not worn out, almost like new. Loved the shower.”

“The room we had had a really really old tub and toilette room. It wasn’t as described in the pictures. The room was smelling bad, like humid and old. The only updated thing was the bad and tv.”

“This is not a fancy upscale place. The price is appropriate. We just needed a place to sleep for the night. Our rooms were clean, shower had plenty of hot water. the water pressure was good, and the AC worked great. The beds were comfortable. They only had a grab bag for breakfast. We opted for a Whataburger just down the road. Maverick is the place to go for fresh ground and brewed coffee. If I am in this area and need a room for the night, I would stay here again.”
